“I truly love what I do.  It’s so rewarding to work with seniors and offer
them a helping hand to make their lives easier.”

Mordo is personally involved in all aspects of the daily operation of our home
care agency including case management, staff training, client relations and
marketing. This ensures that he can make the best matches possible between
caregivers and care receivers.

As the owner of the Home Helpers NYC, Mordo works to ensure that all clients
receive quality care.

Before founding Home Helpers NYC, Mordo’s professional background
equipped him with the skills and experience to successfully run a home care
agency.

Mordo is originally from Turkey and studied  tourism and  hotel  management
in his native country.  He learned to be attentive to people’s needs as the
incoming manager for a prominent travel agency.

After emigrating to the US, he became passionate about the health care field
when he worked for a company that manufactured medical prosthesis for
people suffering with diabetes.

Later, as warehouse manager for a large textile company, Mordo honed his
logistical and resource management skills.

Mordo recently completed the CSA course work and exam and is now a
Certified Senior Advisor. As a CSA, Mordo acts as a resource for you and
your loved ones regarding caring for the elderly, aging issues and concerns.

Home Helpers NYC

“It's wonderful to be able to serve our community.”

Dina handles the marketing, advertising, communications and strategy
aspects of the business.  She works to get the word out about Home Helpers
as well as creating educational pieces for our clients and the community.

As the co-owner of Home Helpers NYC, Dina is passionate about using her
skills to educate and inform the public about our agency as well as aging
related issues.

Before founding Home Helpers NYC, Dina’s professional background gave
her the knowledge, skills and abilities to carry out the various aspects of her
job.

Before working with Home Helpers full time, Dina worked at Burson Marsteller,
a global advertising and PR agency.  She spent time working in the digital and
print groups, which proved to be helpful in creating this website along with our
advertising campaigns.

Previously, Dina worked at the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey,
where she used her communications and HR background in various offices.

During her undergraduate years at Syracuse University and her graduate
school years at Rockefeller College, SUNY Albany, she worked for various
government agencies including the NYS Office of the State Comptroller and
the NYS Assembly.

Dina is most proud of her recent achievement, giving birth to the littlest Home
Helper, Jordan Hodara-Bono.  He is the sunshine of our lives and keeps us on
our toes!
