As the owner of the Home Helpers NYC, Mordo works to ensure that all clients receive quality care.
Before founding Home Helpers NYC, Mordo’s professional background equipped him with the skills
and experience to successfully run a home care agency.
Mordo is originally from Turkey and studied tourism and hotel management in his native country.
He learned to be attentive to people’s needs as the incoming manager for a prominent travel
agency.
After emigrating to the US, he became passionate about the health care field when he worked for a
company that manufactured medical prosthesis for people suffering with diabetes.
Later, as warehouse manager for a large textile company, Mordo honed his logistical and resource
management skills.
Mordo recently completed the CSA course work and exam and is now a Certified Senior Advisor.
As a CSA, Mordo acts as a resource for you and your loved ones regarding caring for the elderly,
aging issues and concerns.

communications and HR background in various offices.
During her undergraduate years at Syracuse University and her graduate school years at
Rockefeller College, SUNY Albany, she worked for various government agencies including the NYS
Office of the State Comptroller and the NYS Assembly.
Dina is most proud of her recent achievement, giving birth to the littlest Home Helper, Jordan
Hodara-Bono. He is the sunshine of our lives and keeps us on our toes!
