Medical alert systems provide a bit of extra help and peace of mind to those living alone or recently recovering from an illness or
injury.  We offer two systems, Direct Link and Automated Medication Management.  Both of these systems, working separately or
together, are a great way for an elderly person to feel independent while still getting the help they need.

Contact us for a free, no obligation consultation at (718) 261-0158 or
58319@homehelpers.cc  Our case managers are happy to
meet with you any time - day time, evening, and during the weekend.

Medical Alert Systems

You could benefit from the peace of mind a PERS provides if you or your
loved one:
  • Is alone several hours a day
  • Has fallen or visited the ER in the past year
  • Has a chronic ailment, such as heart disease or stroke
  • Uses a cane, walker, or other device to help with balance and walking
  • Requires assistance with activities of daily living
The PERS Direct Link unit is monitored 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. For help, simply press the small, wireless button worn
as a pendant or wristband. The Care Center staff will respond promptly and take action based on your prior instructions.

They will:

  • Dispatch an ambulance when necessary
  • Have a neighbor check in on you
  • Notify a family member of your situation

Our operators will always follow up with the responder by calling to confirm that help did in fact arrive. For added security, Direct
Link includes an extra emergency call button free of charge. All call buttons are water-resistant, making them ideal for all rooms –
even kitchens and bathrooms.

Direct Link units are compatible with digital cable/VoIP phone service and AC operated with a rechargeable battery back-up for
travel or power failures.

Personal Emergency Response System - Direct Link

Our automated medication dispenser can help simplify medication
management, giving you peace of mind and maximizing independence. You’ll
have fewer worries about:
  • Forgetting to take a dose.
  • Taking a double dose.
  • Taking at the wrong time.
  • Opening and closing pill bottles.
  • Identifying pills or bottles if you are visually impaired.
  • Privacy of type and quantity of medications.

Automated Medication Dispenser

  • Load up to 28 doses of medication.
  • Set the digital alarm clock.
  • Close the unit under lock and key, not just a latch..
  • When dose is ready, alarm sounds and red light flashes.
  • If dose is not taken, The Care Center is alerted and will call to remind you.

The Automated Medication Dispenser unit is compatible with digital cable/VoIP phone service, and it is AC operated with a 72-
hour rechargeable battery back-up for travel or power failures.
